Been a while
I so lose track of time now that I have my little one. If I am not mommy I am working and vise versa… It’s been busy. Little girl is growing up so fast… TOO fast! She is almost a year old, talking up a storm - learning a new word every day it seems, crawling and starting to walk a bit too. Work is good. Lots of new things coming down the pike that I am really looking forward to. More on that later. Right now I am just trying to stay in as much creative as I can. I’ve found tons of great new sites to stimulate my creative insides and that’s what I need… esp when most of the time I’m talking to a 10 month old all day! Off to wash a few items for in the morning and then to bed… nighty night!

An old idea with a fresh eye
So I’ve always had this urge to write a book… as my little one feel asleep while I was feeding her last night I was watching the JK Rowling story and my urge to write was more prominent that ever. No I don’t expect to write the next Harry Potter series but something… I think what’s been keeping me from it, is not knowing what to write about. I told my husband and he had the best suggestion yet… to write for my daughter and see where it goes. The great thing I see about writing is that I can still work full time (at home), still mommy full time and not miss a beat - so says me now. I am still left with the question of what to write but now I am at least starting to make idea lists and really think about it… guess we’ll see where this goes…

It’s been a while
So it’s been a while since I’ve been here. Life has been busy. Busy but good. Am thinking that while this is about my freelance experience, I can’t help but think that it is also best served as my life experiences in general - from work to being a mommy and everything in between. Probably will only be interesting to me - HA! But at least if there is anyone else out there in my boat, they will know they are not alone and can relate. That’s what it’s all about, support.
